From Randy – A Better Quality of Life

I firmly believe that the quality of life begins with effective local government. This encompasses various aspects such as the condition of our roads, the accessibility of parks, employment opportunities, quality education, healthcare, safety measures, emergency response services, and the overall well-being of our properties and homes.

I am a staunch supporter of emergency services. With over three decades of experience in public safety, including working closely with emergency medical services (EMS) and law enforcement, I deeply understand the importance of adequately funding and supporting their operations. This extends to supporting all our county departments. Furthermore, I am dedicated to supporting our veterans. I express gratitude to all who have served and continue to serve our country.

I do not view myself as a politician; rather, I see myself as a public servant genuinely committed to serving all the citizens of La Porte County.

I pledge to work together in a bipartisan manner to find common ground for the betterment of La Porte County. I will move the county forward with hard work and a respectable approach.  I don’t have a hidden agenda, someone pulling my strings, or an ego driving me – I am my own person, dedicated to making La Porte County the best it can be. I have a proven record of collaborating with others. Once elected, party affiliation should not influence one’s job. Elected officials serve the people of La Porte County, not one side or the other. For decades, I have prioritized the needs of our residents. With over 35 years in the fire service, my focus has always been on helping people, especially on their worst day(s). Firefighters are problem solvers, and that’s what I pride myself on being.
